Section 8 - Who's the bearded guy that use to always be in victory lane?
Bill Broderick, a.k.a. The Hatman, was a representative of UNOCAL. His job was to handle Victory Lane at the non-France-owned tracks (they have their own guy who's also been
doing the same thing for years). During/after an ownership change of
Unocal, Bill was released or resigned...although it has been said that he still has some functions at some races.
