This version of the rasner FAQ has evolvcd over time from a number of documents
involving a number of people.
In general, it is a "modified" version of the r.a.s.n.m. FAQ which was modified
from the rec.autos.sport.nascar FAQ,
which was a modified version of the part of the rec.autos.sport FAQ dealing with NASCAR.
There were several contributors to the r.a.s.n. FAQ: first, the original author,
A.H. Henry; also, Mr. Bruce Florman,
Mr. Mark Breland, Mr. Bill Pogue, Mr. Scott Decatur and Mr. Roger L. Smith. Joe Houk also
did some "embellishing"
and correcting of minor errors in the original FAQ.
Since the original version was published in early October of 1995, Joe received
corrections from Mr. Ray Kelley.
Also, some double-checking of facts against "The Official NASCAR Preview and Press
Guide" and various back issues
of Winston Cup Scene was done to verify parts of the FAQ.
Then, in July and August, 1998, Tom Duwe compiled the edits contained in the
r.a.s.n-m FAQ, with the assistance of Lisa
Carbrey, Karen Jensen, Jerry Kyte, Mike McGuigan and John Martin.
The current rasner FAQ is, as always, a work in progress. All suggestions,
